ACOPROARMO HANDICRAFT COOPERATIVE
IN JOCOAITIQUE, MORAZAN
This small cooperative of artisans
from the area of Morazan is a great place to purchase locally made
handicrafts. The small store sells many different types of typical
Salvadorian handicrafts, all produced in the area by individuals,
members of the cooperative. Feel confident buying here as prices are
fair with most of the money going to the people that make the products.

See how high quality knotted hammocks are made, prices for these fine
hammocks range from $60-$120 depending on labor and materials.

Hand crocheted purses are also produced by women in the area.

Pottery and black clay products are also on sold here.

The store is located just 20 yards from the highway that runs from San Francisco Gotera to Perquin in northern Morazan at the turn off to Jocoaitique. The pick up trucks that provide transportation to and from Perquin run every 15 minutes so a stop at the store is very easy.
The address is Kilometer 200, road
to Jocoaitique, Morazan
